This sentence describes the philosophy and values behind Hello Sue. Susanne's vision was to develop a cosmetics brand that not only sells sustainability, but also lives it and considers it in every single step of manufacturing, transportation and sales. Together with her son Felix and his wife Lena, founding couple of the Hamburg-based label Eulenschnitt, they tinkered with the formula, packaging and design until their vision became reality. The products are designed with a lot of love and care for natural ingredients, always taking care to select and compose them according to Ying and Yang. The result is wonderful essential oils that harmonize perfectly with the base oils and thus provide a holistic well-being that truly gets under the skin.

Susanne, creative mind and good soul behind Hello Sue, has been following this approach for a long time. Already as a child, she felt a deep connection and appreciation towards nature: Together with her grandmother, she roamed through the Upper Swabian forests and meadows, made her own tinctures from collected blossoms and herbs and learned a lot about nature.
Later in her youth, Susanne was drawn to faraway places: from England to Australia to South America, she made her way through the world. In particular, the longing country India triggered a great fascination in her, not least because of the natural oils and the wonderful scents that are an important part of an entire culture there.

Susanne began to experiment with different ingredients and create her own oil creations. The result is sensual and purely natural compositions with nourishing, regenerating and vitalizing effects, all of them vegan as well as water-free. In doing so, Susanne does not only focus on the product itself, but pursues a holistic approach: the skin as a surface for its inner self, which needs to be equally cared for and protected in interaction with a healthy lifestyle consisting of proper nutrition and physical exercise.
